Sipping on bubbly elderflower

Flies doted around the bench

Beetles finding shelter

Amidst my knotting tress

Ladybugs waddled

Across burnt umbre slats

Searching for a taste

Of steaming sausage plait

Beside me lay an apiary

With not a bee in sight

Unlike other insecta

Bees are so polite.
