The first tadpole I had, died in two days.

I was distraught.

So of course I caught another one.

Called him Tad-Too-Small,

A mouthful,

But suited him just right.

Brought him a friend called Paul

the next day.

I hoped they would grow up together,

Besties 4 eva.

Tad-Too-Small died with Paul on a Tuesday.

I held a funeral.

And never looked for frogspawn again.
